On Saturday night October 15, 2016 the school held a gala event to mark the occassion. The event was held at Springhill Suites in Port St. Lucie. Guests included current and former Instructors as well as local dignitaries, graduates, alumni, and current students. Guests came from as far away as Chicago, Virginia and Ocala. The mistress of ceremonies was Ms. Allicia Johnson. Awards were presented to various individuals who had been with the school for many years and whose outstanding dedication made this event possible. Current students presented various displays from period hair styles of the ’50s and 60s to fantasy to a whole body concept including hair, makeup and costume. The event was organized and arrange by Ms. Stella Verios. Music was provided by the musical group Eclipse. Live entertainment was provided by a graduate / Elvis impersonator and also a magician. The event went well into the night where a good time was had by all.
